Choosing Healthy Drinks

Drinks can be more calories than a meal and more sugar than a candy bar! Ouch! Try making a comparable drink of your own. I know it's not the same if you're used to drinking pop... but over time you will get used to it! 

Remember... think before you drink! Here are drink suggestions:

Coffee & Tea:

  • Regular unsweetneed coffee or tea

  • Flavor your latte by adding a little honey and cinnamon instead of syrup

  • Chai tea latte with a chai tea bag instead of syrup

  • Mocha smoothie with almond milk, frozen banana, coffee grounds, and cocoa powder

Flavored Water:

  • Water with strawberries and and a squeeze of lemon

  • Water with watermelon and mint

  • Water with pineapple chunks and a splash or orange juice

  • Can use soda water for carbonation to replace pop


  • Instead of vodka cranberry... choose vodka, soda water, and a splash of cranberry

  • Instead of a margarita... choose tequila or flavored rum, soda water, and fresh lime juice

  • Instead of wine, make a spritzer with wine, soda water, and fresh fruit

  • Instead of a pina colada choose vodka, soda water, and a splash of pineapple juice

  • Choose light beer over regular beer
