So delicious you won't miss apple pie a bit... My kind of breakfast...
All you need is 1 apple, 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup milk (I used flaxmilk), cinnamon, and salt. Optional: nuts, protein powder, honey.
Directions: Heat a skillet over medium heat. I added 1 tsp. coconut oil to keep from sticking. Slice apple and evenly lay across skillet. Cook on each side until slightly soft and golden brown.
Remove from heat and set apples aside on a plate. Add oats, milk, a dash of salt and cinnamon to the heated skillet. Stir until the milk is fully absorbed.
Put oats in a bowl and top with apples. Optional toppings: nuts, protein powder, honey.
