"A winner is someone who never let failure stop them."
“To be a winner, you want to be disciplined and on the edge where your skills are being developed, where losing is always a possibility.”
Just stop and really take a minute to think about those quotes and let them sink in....
We all have failures, that’s just the reality of life. No matter how under control we think we have things, we might overeat at Thanksgiving, there may be a time when we oversleep and can’t make it to the gym, or we may totally forget about all the things we were supposed to get done last week. It happens. And if that doesn’t happen to you, you might want to rethink how you’re doing things. I’m not saying to fail on purpose, but rather to challenge yourself enough so that the possibility of failure is present.
When a failure occurs, we make a choice. We either bury ourselves in the anger, frustration, and bad mood that can set in, or we take this moment to learn.
It is during situations like these where we develop as human beings.
This is why we need to accept failure, and make sure we’re pushing ourselves to limits that may result in failure, but knowing that’s okay, because it is a part of the process in growth and change. Take the time to think how these quotes relate to you.
Set goals that are a little scary. Be aware of yourself when failure does occur. What happened? Why did it happen? Where did I go wrong? What am I going to do next time this situation comes up?
Take the opportunity to learn and develop in life.
“If you want to succeed faster, fail more often.”
