This tea is jam packed with anti-inflammatory compounds from ginger, garlic, celery, and lemon and is so easy to make! It's easy to make a big batch and store the rest in the fridge for a few days.
Ingredients:
2" piece of fresh ginger root
1 clove garlic
2 stalks of celery
2 lemons
Directions: my favorite way to use the ginger is to finely shred it and squeeze out the fresh juice in my hand. You could also use a juicer or just slice pieces. Add about 8 cups of clean drinking water to a pot on the stove over medium heat. Wash and slice other ingredients. Add ginger slices or juice, garlic, celery, and lemon. If you're using ginger juice, simmer for 5 minutes. If you're using ginger slices, simmer for 20+ minutes for more flavor.
You can also add a little cayenne if you like a spicy kick or a little honey if you need some sweetness.
Allow to cool off a bit and enjoy!
