4 Ingredient Bars

January 9, 2017

These bars were super easy to make but be careful.. they are addictively delicious!!!! I'd hate to admit it but I really don't measure ingredients when I make bars so these are estimates! I just use my judgment to adjust texture and taste.

Peanut Butter Banana: ~ 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup banana chips, 1/2 cup oats, 1/4 cup chia seeds

Directions: put banana chips in a blender or food processor and grind until it turns into a powder or only has very tiny pieces. In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, banana chip powder, oats, and chia seeds. Adjust ingredients to your flavor and texture preference. Add salt to taste. Press mixture into a glass jar and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into pieces. Can be rolled into balls too!

Tropical Bars: ~ 2 cups dried apricots, 1 cup dried mango slices, 1 cup cashews, 1/2 cup shredded coconut. Directions: put apricots and mango slices in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Set aside in a large mixing bowl. Crush cashews into small pieces. Mix together dried fruit mix, cashews, and coconut. Add salt to taste. Press mixture into a glass jar and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into pieces. Can be rolled into balls too!

Chocolate Walnut Bars: ~2 cups pitted dates, 1.5 cups walnuts, 1 cup mini dark chocolate chips, 1/4 cup chia seeds. Directions: put dates in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Make sure you remove the seed first if you didn't buy them pitted!!! Set aside in a large mixing bowl. Crush walnuts or put in the food processor until crushed into small pieces. Mix together dates, walnuts, chocolate chips, and chia seeds. Add salt to taste. Press mixture into a glass jar and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into pieces. Can be rolled into balls too!
