Walnut Banana "Bread"

This bread is made with only 3 main ingredients, no sugar added, full of potassium that can lower cholesterol, fiber that keeps you full, and protein that keeps up your metabolism! 



3 ripe bananas

2 cups rolled oats

1 cup egg whites

3/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1/3 cup walnut pieces


Optional toppings: chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc. 


Directions: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and lightly coat the bottom of a 8 x8 glass baking dish. Put all ingredients from bananas to cinnamon in a blender or food processor and mix until all ingredients are well combined (about 1 minute). Pour all ingredients into the glass dish and add toppings. Bake for 15-20minutes, or until a knife comes out clean. I highly recommend cutting a slice, spreading a little butter or coconut oil on top, and cooking on a heated skillet or toaster until golden brown. It makes it EXTRA delicious!!!
